What we do and how to get more involved:
Renew or join for $45.00 annually. Consider renewing for 2020 now. We hold monthly meetings during the fall, winter & spring. Yep summers off! Our meetings focus on our fund raising activities, news/events and requests for support in Hinesburg. This affinity network is valued by our most active members. Our meetings are at 5 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of the Month, September thru June at Papa Nick’s.
We host a holidy mixer every December. This year at the Park Side Café at 5:30. Cash bar and appetizers with give-aways. We will be raising money for HCRC (food shelf) & the AED Fund for another device in Hinesburg. This is a great casual way to connect and reconnect while supporting local non-profits. We organize the Community Yard Sale every spring! After 23 years this is a huge annual event. Again our raffles and table rentals raise money for local non profits all while supporting one of the largest community yard sales in Vermont. A reuse & resell community benefit that over 45 family’s participate. Our Fundraiser FORE Fireworks is our largest charitable effort. This annual golf tournament has entirely funded the Hinesburg July 4th pyrotechnics for the last 3 years. It benefits local business, shows national pride and helps the town budget. HBPA is often approached about local needs. We have helped families and business recover from devastating events in addition to supporting the Hinesburg Food Shelf, Friends of Famalies, and Hinesburg Community Resource Center among other notable worthy causes.
Please consider renewing your 2020 HBPA membership early. This will allow time for our volunteers to get your listings updated on our new web site and your stickers and badges which will provide additional exposure for your business.
